*We seek your understanding that our counter staff will not be able to process the applications received via the online portal. *If you are looking to get your international driving licence in less than 7 working days, please submit a walk-in application over the counter to receive your permit on the spot. An additional $5.50 will be added to your cart prior to checkout for the courier fee. The processing time for an International Driving Permit and delivery via local courier^^ is about 7 working days (exclude submission day). IDP applicant is to check with the respective car rental company on the requirement to drive in the respective countries before application.

How to Apply for an International Driving Licence Online? If you are required to go overseas before receiving your Singapore Driving Licence, please obtain an extract from Traffic Police. You can still apply for an International Driving Permit with the acknowledgement slip from Traffic Police.
Should your Singapore Driving Licence be defaced, or if the residency status in your Singapore Driving Licence is different from your NRIC, please contact Singapore Traffic Police for a replacement before applying for an International Driving Permit at AA Singapore. If you are applying on behalf of an applicant, a hardcopy photograph of the applicant is required. Online applicants can submit a passport-sized photo in JPG format walk-in applicants will have their photos taken on-site at no additional charges. The International Driving Permit must contain a photograph of the applicant. Holders of foreign driving licences can only apply for an International Driving Permit in the country where their driving licences were issued. 
The International Driving Permit cannot be issued to holders of foreign driving licences in Singapore.
